Locations and Schools: Our partner schools are currently located in the United States. Students are placed at prestigious schools that offer traditional courses in Mathematics, Science, History and English as well as exciting electives such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Arts, Music, Choir and more. Students can also participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs and after school organizations.
Host Families: Students are placed in local host families in the community. Many of these families have their own children attending the same local school. Host families are usually very excited to host a foreign student and are eager to share their home. Host families also provide breakfast and dinner (lunch at school) during weekdays and breakfast, lunch and dinner on the weekends in addition to accomodations. Each host family is carefully screened to make sure students are placed in a safe, appropriate and welcoming environment.
Eligibility: International students that are aged 14-17 years old and have not graduated from their high school program in their home country are eligible to apply. Students must maintain a good level of English language knowledge and are required to participate in a pre-assessment screening interview to determine their English level.
